DataChannel this week announced
the formalization of its XML Backbone Professional Services Practice, as
well as a strategic alliance with Software Technologies Corp..
DataChannel will incorporate STC's e*Gate 4.0 as part of its XML Backbone
to provide greater enterprise application integration and real-time
transaction processing.
DataChannel's XML Backbone is a comprehensive platform for XML-based
enterprise data and application integration, and is a core component of the
DataChannel Enterprise Information Portal (EIP) Solutions framework. It
provides a data exposure and integration
services layer for the DataChannel EIP, which has the capacity to access
any enterprise data and deliver that data using the DataChannel Server 4.0.
DataChannel Server 4.0 provides a single point of secure, personalized
access for any device via an intranet, extranet or the Internet.
